Like any great mixed martial artist, we employ the skills needed—-nothing more, nothing less. On May 1, 2015, our fighting campaign started in earnest with the formation of Harris Law Firm, PC. Our founder, Justin D. Harris was fueled by a desire for independence to enable him to more effectively represent his clients, his way.
Business Litigation
HLF’s business litigation practices focuses on business, real estate, corporate, partnership, labor and employment disputes. HLF is also experienced in handling professional liability and personal injury matters. HLF also represents clients in related transactional matters.
Bankruptcy & Restructuring
HLF’s bankruptcy and restructuring practice involves the representation of debtors, creditors, trustees, committees and private equity, primarily in chapter 7 and 11 matters. This practice also involves informal workouts, restructuring, assignments for benefit of creditors and receiverships. Mr. Harris has also been retained as an expert and testified in bankruptcy matters.
Family Law
HLF represents clients in all aspects of family law matters including divorce (dissolution), child custody and visitation, child support, paternity, and property and debt divisions. Mr. Harris has found his extensive litigation and bankruptcy experience to be particularly helpful in resolving these matters.
Civil Rights Litigation
HLF selectively represents inmates in civil rights matters related to personal injuries suffered during their incarceration at prisons located in the State of California.
